The YABC (Young Adult Borough Center) program at Franklin D. Roosevelt High School is a collaborative program in partnership with the Department of Education and Good Shepherd Services. We work with students who are over-aged and under-credited to overcome their barriers, graduate high school, and develop their Post Secondary plan for success after high school.

  • Be 17.5*-21 years old (*Students must have completed the school year in which they turn 17. The school year begins July 1st.)
  • Have a minimum of 17 course credits
  • Be in the fifth year (or more) of high school
  • Be enrolled or become enrolled in a NYC high school*

*Eligible students who are not currently enrolled in a high school must go to a ​borough enrollment office to be enrolled in a high school.
