What regents do i still need to graduate?
To confirm what Regents exams specifically you are still required to pass, please contact your Advocate Counselor in Room 249 or directly with Mr. Ragucci in Room 240 at FDR.

Good Shepherd Services Programs
Young Adult Borough Center (YABC) Programs
What is a YABC?
Operated in partnership with New York City Department of Education (DOE), our Young Adult Borough Centers (YABCs) are designed for older adolescents who have not graduated from high school and have challenges like caring for a child, and work schedules, which can hinder students from graduating. YABCs give young people the flexibility to take intensive afternoon and evening classes and focus only on the courses they need to graduate.
In conjunction with the DOE’s academic curriculum, Good Shepherd Services provides a wide range of services like counseling, crisis intervention, resource referrals, academic tutoring, college preparation, career exploration, and job development and placement. All of our YABCs offer the Learning to Work initiative, which provides career and employment experience and skills building, primarily through paid internships.
To be eligible for the program students must be between the ages of 17½ and 21, have earned at least 17 credits, and be in the fifth year (or more) of high school.

LifeLink
What is LIFELINK?
Good Shepherd Services’ LifeLink program provides young people with the support they need to make a successful transition from high school to college at City University of New York (CUNY) schools.
LifeLink helps current high school students, GED students, and Young Adult Borough Center participants of Good Shepherd Services’ programs, as well as recent high school graduates who plan to attend CUNY schools, to stay in college and overcome any roadblocks in their way to both a degree and a more promising future. Our staff provides strong personal support services to current students, enabling them to anchor themselves firmly within the college community. We help students navigate the application and registration process to successfully enter college.
The LifeLink Bridge is the first phase of the Lifelink program, where our staff prepare students for the CUNY placement test. The Bridge program is an intensive six-week curriculum that focuses on getting students up-to-speed on testing skills.
LifeLink also provides a retention program which includes comprehensive college support services for CUNY students. Staff provide academic advisement, counseling and general support and community meetings, in which students and staff meet to discuss issues relevant to students’ academic or personal lives. Students also have an opportunity to socialize, de-stress, and develop a strong network of peer support.

Single Stop Services
What is Single Stop?
Single Stop centers provide individuals and families with hands-on assistance in applying for public benefits. The “one-stop shop” program provides unprecedented ease to public services, in one place at one time–connecting people to the resources they need to attain higher education, obtain good jobs, and achieve financial stability. Single Stop centers also offer legal counseling, help with financial planning, immigration services and referrals to other community-based organizations, as needed.
